Meet the Founders

Building platforms for truth, sovereignty, and civic engagement

AD

Adam Derges

Co-Founder, Alberta's Choice & Army of Great Men

Financial professional, media voice, and advocate for personal sovereignty, civic education, and Alberta's self-determination.

Professional Background

Adam Derges is a financial professional with a background in finance, leadership, and wealth strategy. Since 2010, he has been a business owner in Alberta, building expertise in understanding the unique needs of entrepreneurs and their families.

Through his work, Adam has built a specialized team designed to help business owners with wealth planning and succession planning, with a sharp focus on tax efficiency. His approach combines financial acumen with a deep understanding of the challenges facing Alberta's business community.

Journey & Mission

Adam's journey into public discourse was not born from politics, but from pattern recognition. As he observed increasing government overreach, erosion of personal freedoms, and the quiet normalization of centralized control, he began asking deeper questions—about authority, consent, and the role of citizens in preserving a free society.

Through years of research, conversation, and spiritual reflection, Adam experienced a personal awakening that reshaped his mission. What began as a call for personal responsibility expanded into a broader commitment to civic education, sovereignty, and national self-determination—particularly within Alberta.

Army of Great Men

Adam is the founder of Army of Great Men, a fast-growing platform dedicated to restoring strength, responsibility, and moral clarity in an era of cultural confusion. The platform serves as a rallying point for men and women committed to standing firmly in truth, faith, family, and freedom.

Through this work, Adam emphasizes that strong nations are built by strong individuals—people who refuse to compromise their values and who actively participate in shaping their communities and their future.

AC

Angela Current

Co-Founder, Alberta's Choice

Alberta-based entrepreneur and advocate for sovereignty, community, and individual freedom.

Background & Heritage

A fourth-generation Albertan, Angela was raised with deep respect for land, family, faith, and responsibility—values shaped by her great grandparents and grandparents' homesteading roots and carried forward into her own life as a mother, business leader, and homeschooler.

With a background spanning business development, energy, property management, and community leadership, Angela has spent over two decades working inside large systems—corporate, financial, legal, construction, and wellness. Her lived experience navigating these institutions as a business owner and single mother ultimately led her to question the growing disconnect between governing bodies and the people they are meant to serve.

Awakening & Commitment

Over the past several years, Angela experienced a profound awakening—recognizing how centralized power, unelected bureaucracy, and digital governance are reshaping society without meaningful consent. Rather than retreat, she chose engagement.

Today, she is committed to educating Albertans on sovereignty, constitutional authority, and self-determination, with a particular focus on empowering families, women, and local communities to think critically and reclaim agency.

Mission & Philosophy

Angela writes and speaks from the intersection of personal responsibility, faith, freedom, and future-focused solutions. Her work is rooted in the belief that informed citizens—not institutions—are the true foundation of a healthy society.

Through Alberta's Choice, Angela is dedicated to providing Albertans with unfiltered, balanced information about the 2026 referendum, empowering them to make informed decisions about their province's future.

Alberta's Choice

Together, Adam and Angela have built Alberta's Choice—a referendum video platform providing unfiltered, balanced coverage of Alberta's independence movement. The platform serves as a neutral space where Albertans can access thousands of video clips, debates, and expert analysis to form their own informed opinions.

Their shared mission is clear: to empower Albertans with the information, community, and conviction needed to make informed decisions about their province's future—rooted in faith, family, and freedom.
